Facility History The former H&H Ship Service Company was a hazardous waste treatment & storage facility located next to San Francisco Bay. It's main operations included treating and storing industrial oily waste, wastewater, and ship bilge water. The facility also cleaned and dismantled underground and aboveground storage tanks. H&H Ship Service Company went bankrupt in 1997. elevated levels of lead and arsenic remain onsite underneath a concrete cap and/or at least 18 inches of topsoil.
