Press Availability on DTSC Study Showing Decline of PBDE levels in the
breast milk of California women
SACRAMENTO – On Wednesday, February 24th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. the California Department of Toxic Substances (DTSC) will hold a call-in press briefing on a study by the Environmental Chemistry Laboratory in Berkeley that showed a significant decline of PBDE (flame retardant) levels in the breast milk of California women since a bill banning the chemicals passed in 2003.
