Alternatives Analysis Workshop

On October 9 – 10, 2012, DTSC hosted a two-day alternative analysis (AA) workshop that reviewed tools, methodologies, and existing frameworks. Stakeholders attended, and shared input about how they implement the multiple steps involved when performing an AA.

During the workshop, information about current business practices and processes used during an AA were supplied, along with insight from various industries. Representatives from both large and small business engaged in a candid exchange of ideas on what makes for a successful AA application. See the notes below to view some of the workshop’s suggested additions to established lists of tools, methodologies and frameworks.
