Welcome to the Fee Regulations page. Senate Bill 156 (Chapter 72, Statutes of 2024) authorized DTSC to adopt fee administration regulations through California’s emergency regulation process. Specifically, DTSC is required to conduct one or more public workshops before adopting proposed fee regulations and the regulations remain in effect until repealed by the department.

Join the DTSC and the Board of Environmental Safety (BES) for a pre-regulatory workshop on the Generation & Handing Fee.
