DTSC presents initial findings from food packaging evaluation
DTSC hosted a webinar on October 24, 2019 to present initial findings from our food packaging evaluation, implementing the 2018-2020 Priority Product Work Plan (PPWP). This webinar provided an overview of our progress towards Priority Product selection and outline opportunities for input. The PPWP prioritized product categories containing chemicals that may migrate from food packaging or have the potential to harm the aquatic environment, children, or workers. SCP identified several Candidate Chemicals that warrant further research or input from stakeholders. SCP is seeking to better understand the presence of these Candidate Chemicals in current product uses.
