Retailers & Distributors: Your Duty to Comply with CA Safer Consumer Products Regulations

DTSC hosted a virtual educational webinar for Retailers and Distributors on their potential duty to comply with Safer Consumer Products (SCP) Regulations. The webinar emphasized the vital role retailers and distributors can play in the SCP Program, and how retailers and distributors can get involved early and provide input on each of the critical steps of our regulatory process. We discussed our regulatory framework, the potential responsibility of retailers and distributors to comply with our regulations, and how retailers and distributors can get ahead of regulation and provide safer products for their customers.
