DTSC Director Ed Lowry to Meet with Community Members Regarding
Santa Susana Field Laboratory Site
LOS ANGELES – Ed Lowry, Director of the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), will host a meeting to hear comments and concerns from the public regarding DTSC’s role at the Boeing Rocketdyne Santa Susana Field Laboratory in Simi Valley.
Lowry is the first DTSC director, in the history of the site, to meet with the community residents in such a forum.
Date: Tuesday, July 15, 2003
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Valley View Middle School, 3347 Tapo Street in Simi Valley
DTSC is one of several regulatory agencies, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Energy, the California Department of Health Services, and the Regional Water Quality Control Board, who are overseeing the environmental cleanup of the facility.
