Facility History
The facility was a land treatment facility that accepted oily waste from oil production during the 1970’s and 1980’s. The facility stopped receiving waste in 1990 and has been closed since. It was determined that the oily waste is contained, degraded and immobilized. It was also determined that the site poses no significant threat to the public health. The site has been certified closed by DTSC, but because hazardous waste still remains on the site a land use covenant was placed on the property to restrict future construction on the property.
