  1. Welcome
    The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and Green Ribbon Science Panel (GRSP) Co-Chairs will welcome members and the public.
  2. Agenda Review
    Panel Roll Call
    Panel Co-Chair will briefly review the day’s agenda and set the context for the meeting.
  3. Presentation on DTSC Updates
    DTSC staff will provide a brief update on the Safer Consumer Products Program to the Panel members.
  4. Presentations on DTSC’s Alternatives Analysis Work Plan and Evaluation of Example Alternatives Assessments
    DTSC staff will provide an overview of DTSC’s work to prepare to accept Alternatives Analyses and briefly describe their evaluation of publicly-available example alternatives assessments.
  5. Public Comment

    Members of the public may offer comments to the Panel on agenda items.

  6. DTSC’s Evaluation of Example Alternatives Assessments

    Panel will discuss DTSC’s evaluation of publicly-available example alternatives assessments.

  1. Welcome, Opening Remarks and Agenda Review
    Panel Co-Chairs will briefly summarize outcomes from the previous day’s discussion and will outline the day’s agenda topics.
  2. Presentation on DTSC’s 2018-2020 Priority Product Work Plan
    DTSC will provide an overview of the development of its 2018-2020 Priority Product Work Plan.
  3. Public Comment
    Members of the public may offer comments to the Panel on agenda items.
  4. DTSC’s Priority Product Work Plan
    Members of the panel will discuss the development of the 2018-2020 Priority Product Work Plan and briefly provide comments on the implementation of the 2015-2017 Priority Product Work Plan.
  5. DTSC’s Research Agenda
    Panel will discuss how DTSC can influence the research agenda in fields related to implementation of the Safer Consumer Products regulations.
  6. Conclude and Adjourn

Meeting Participation and Comment

The order of items on the agenda is subject to change at the discretion of the GRSP Co-Chairs or the Safer Products and Workplaces Deputy Director. Materials related to the meeting will be posted as they are available on the GRSP Meeting website.

Members of the public and representatives of organizations are invited to attend and participate in the GRSP meeting on matters directly related to the work of the Panel. The time allotted for individual public comments may be limited, depending on the number of individuals wishing to speak. Speakers are not required to identify themselves publicly.
