Permit Appeals
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) issues permits to facilities authorizing the transfer, recycling, treatment, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste. State law sets out procedures to appeal decisions to grant, issue, modify or deny a hazardous waste facility permit. DTSC is committed to handle permit appeals fairly, timely, and lawfully, and that participants will be provided full opportunity to be heard. For more information or if you have questions, please contact appeals.
