GRSP Subcommittees Archive
In early 2011, DTSC and the Green Ribbon Science Panel (GRSP) formed three subcommittees to more deeply discuss issues related to DTSC’s Green Chemistry Program. The subcommittees met via teleconference twice prior to the May 5-6, 2011 meeting of the entire Panel. At that time, the entire GRSP discussed the issues and provided advice to DTSC. All GRSP subcommittee meetings were open to the public, and included opportunities for the public to make comments to the GRSP.
Alternative Assessment (as described in AB 1879)
Meeting Purpose: Discuss issues related to alternative assessments (as described in AB 1879) as part of DTSC’s implementation of the green chemistry law, in preparation for a physical meeting of the entire Green Ribbon Science Panel held in Sacramento, California, on July 14, 2011 and July 15, 2011.
Tiered Alternatives Assessments
Meeting Purpose: Discuss issues related to tiered alternative assessments as part of DTSC’s implementation of the green chemistry law, in preparation for a physical meeting of the entire Green Ribbon Science Panel held in Sacramento, California, on July 14, 2011 and July 15, 2011.
Quality Assurance for Alternatives Assessments
Meeting Purpose: Discuss issues related to quality assurance for alternatives assessments as part of DTSC’s implementation of the green chemistry law, in preparation for a physical meeting of the entire Green Ribbon Science Panel held in Sacramento, California, on July 14, 2011 and July 15, 2011.
Chemical Identification and Prioritization
