March 2024
DTSC presented an update on the development and implementation of the revised SB 673 Track 2 framework to the Board of Environmental Safety (BES) on March 21, 2024.
May 2024
DTSC presented an update on the status of the revised SB 673 Track 2 framework to the BES on May 23, 2024.
August 2024
DTSC presented the first of three information sheets (Information Sheet #1 – Community Engagement) to the BES on August 29, 2024.
December 2024
DTSC presented the second of three information sheets (Information Sheet #2 – Community Vulnerability) to the BES on December 4, 2024.
2023
- DTSC continued to develop a revised framework in response to public input on the 2021 draft framework. As DTSC was busy developing the revised framework internally, there were no public events during this time.
- DTSC released a public engagement survey to get feedback from the public on their preferred methods of engagement with DTSC on the development of the SB 673 Track 2 regulations.
2022
DTSC considered public input submitted between May and October 2021 on the 2021 draft framework, as well as input received in technical workshops and informational sessions held in 2021. Based on the feedback received, DTSC decided to make significant revisions to the framework and began efforts to develop a revised framework. As DTSC was busy revising the framework, there were no public events hosted.

DTSC considered public input on the 2018 draft framework concepts submitted between October 2018 and April 2019 and developed a draft regulatory framework that was shared with the public in 2021. While developing the draft framework, there were no public events hosted.
